The average surface finish of a 3D printed part is around 8 to 10 Ra and can be improved with further post-processing such as vibro tumbling and shot blasting.

The dimensional tolerance for a metal 3D printed part is around +/- 50 microns for smaller parts (up to 50 mm) and +/- 0.2% of the measuring dimension for bigger parts.
